Chrome Headbolt Bridge
« on: April 18, 2007, 11:14:04 AM »

I want to dress up the spark plug area on my 07 FLHTCUSE2 by fitting H-D's Chrome Headbolt Bridge (43858-00) but notice it says 'Not to be used on models equipped with fairing lowers'. Can anyone tell me why? I've asked my Dealer and they don't know. A friend fitted them to his Ultra 3 years ago without any problems since.
Cheers Steve

They retain too much heat.  Most of us are running the finned bridges

I have them on my dyna,  while they look cool , they are harder to get the spark plugs/boots in on.
