Two, two... Two bikes in one!
« on: March 18, 2010, 10:40:13 AM »

A friend of mine just picked up his new Ultra Limited yesterday and we went out for an inaugural ride.

Beautiful day for a ride and a beautiful ride it is.  :2vrolijk_21:

I took a couple of pictures (one from each side) to show how the colour changes depending on the angle of the light hitting it...

From one side it looks blue & black and from the other purple & black.

Cool looking bike!

Yes, you don't seem to see them sitting around collecting dust on the showroom floors.

Official color is Black over Black Ice.  I have the same color Limited in my garage.  I don't know why they call it Black Ice, it's either blue or purple depending on how the light hits it.

It is kind of strange that they called that color black ice.  My '07 is Black Ice/Electric Orange and the black ice is definitely black with silver flecks of metal flake in it...there's no blue/purple whatsoever...don't know why they gave that the same color name... :nixweiss:  But it is a really nice color out in the sun.
