Rev perf ems
« on: March 08, 2011, 08:51:07 AM »

For those who have installed this on bikes with narrow band sensors,
How easy is it to remove these. Is there just a connector or
do you have to open up the main wire loom to get these
off?
Thanks, scott

You simple unplug the narrow band sensors at a connector.  There's one connector for each sensor.  You do not have to take apart the main wire loom.  From start to finish, the installation of the Rev. Perf. EMS is 45 minutes tops...   :2vrolijk_21:

beechflyr,

I'm going to use the Rev/Perf EMS on my 11 CVO.  Maybe something has changed but I didn't think they offered it for the narrow band sensors?  When I asked them about using it on my 11 they said I had to have the 09 style of sensor bungs on the exhaust.  You better double check with them to see if thats still the case.

Dwight is correct, you need 09 size sensor bungs...  But regarding the original question of wiring, it's straight forward plug and play.   :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks to all.
Scott

If you're considering an exhaust change you can make this task simpler.  Just order pipes for an 09.  The 09 touring bikes will have the right bungs already installed.

Cheaper to get correct sized bungs welded on your existing pipes if you're not thinking about a change.  If changing exaust is in the works though there is work to be saved by doing it at the same time.
