Upgraded plug wires...smoothed idle a bit.
« on: September 10, 2011, 08:36:05 PM »

I ordered and installed a pair of the SE plug wires (orange) on my bike and noticed that it idled a bit smoother. Four years and 80,000 kms residing directly above a pair of very hot heads must take a toll on them. On my black bike the orange wires added a bit of color too. They were less than $20 to boot!

I just ordered a set of Red ones for my 2011 FLTRUSE.  Did you have to remove the gas tank and associated parts to install wire to front cylinder?

It's been a while...but, I'm pretty sure I didn't have to. Try to be gentle with the clips under there...the new wires a bigger than the originals and I ended up breaking one...had to order it.
