Waterproof saddlebags with speakers
« on: March 05, 2015, 02:27:57 PM »

Sorry if this has been asked, did a search but didn’t find anything.  How waterproof/resistant are the saddlebags with speakers in the lids?

I've had mine in since 2012, only had 1 out of four leak.  Out of four different speakers which were first run.

Wash mine with the hose all the time and no leaks. They do hold water though. You have to open the lid to get the water to drain out.

same experience.  Whenever I wash the bike, I take no particular care to keep rinse water off or out of the speakers, and have had no leaks.
