Which exhaust to use with new 113"?
« on: February 26, 2015, 12:05:54 AM »

I have spent time  looking at posts  for answers.  I putting a new 113"  into my 2012 SESG.
Head work, new S&S crank, Mahle pistons, T-man 577 cams, 58 mm T/B, 5.3 injectors and others with Fuel Moto 2/1/2 XXX exhaust.  I'm going with either Crusher mellows or  Fullsac 2.25" recore kit with screaming exhaust.   Could someone give me idea of what to expect with the mellows or 2.25' cores with screaming exhaust?  How loud?

Both have a nice low tone at town and Highway speeds The mellows are bit quieter. Crank it up and they both have a good bark the 2.25 just a little more.
I feel power wise (IMO with your build) you may get more TQ out of the mellows and a little more HP out of the 2.25. They will be real close in power and sound. You have real nice build there. I am jealous. Let us know how it all works out for you after your tune.
