So has any one finished this upgrade yet??  Ordered the parts this mornin', parts guy had trouble with the two screws, found them on HD net as #'s 1106 1107, he put a comma in the part # and then they came up as a screw and not heat deflector??  All good now..any one have tips or hints yet on the install?

I have all the parts in hand.  Just waiting for time to install it.  Mine's getting my Zumo 550 cradle attached.  Pics of install will get posted as I do the job.

It looks like it has possibility to connect the audio to the rear/back side or the radio/sound system instead of having to use the outside AUX jack. it would be great if we can hook it up on the back since it will look cleaner without the wire on the front as well as it will free up one port.

Is there anybody out there that is able to clarify this?

This was asked on the Zumo forums and no, you will still have to run the Aux cable into the front spot. Just like in any car where you plug and iPod into the front Aux receiver

Ahh, the part they missed was the scratching the trace so that you can have the unit plugged into the AUX jack, but you can still use the rest of the radio. Thanks for that

The last part has arrived this afternoon, I will pick them up tomorrow and start the install!!!!!!!!
