Thank you to everyone for the kind birthday wishes. Another year has slid by and I'm still here, so that's a good thing.
I don't have the luxury of hanging around on the site during the day anymore, but I haven't gone anywhere. We're still here. Between work and a self-generating laundry list of to-do's my day is gone before I know it. The end result is not having the time to hang out with you as much as I would like anymore. I'm sure you'll all still be here when I get things fixed on my end. I'll be back. Unfortunately, the Keys trip has become a casualty of all of this too. I'll update that thread next.
Anyway, back to me getting older. I had a nice birthday with family. My mom came up from Florida for the weekend so I was able to spend the weekend with the women in my life. We had a great time and got to visit the Tut exhibit here in town. We wrapped the weekend up with a nice dinner last evening and now things are returning to normal. Today's an off day at the office for MLK, so hopefully I'll be able to scratch off a few items today.
Pinky and I are looking forward to RibFest in May and will be ready to ride. We haven't had the time to do any riding since Maggie Valley last year, so we'll be ready to grind some rust off of the floorboards.
Thanks again for the kind wishes. You all are in my thoughts often, even if I'm not here to talk to you directly. I got to chat with Hard10 a bit yesterday and that was a nice surprise.
I hope everyone is having a great start to 2009 and is looking forward to great things in the coming year.
Mi amigo Chuck...great to hear from you.....see you at the RibFest....don't forget the bibs!!
