« on: December 07, 2011, 10:55:13 AM »

hello all, just bought a set of vance and hines short shots for my FXR3.....after talking to service manager at harley shop, he advised it is very hard to tune and get right due to lack of back pressure.....I have screaming eagle slip ons on bike witch i am happy with..only thought short shorts looked better....any thoughts.....maybe i should rethink this?...thx  roger

Think you need a new service tech.  Had short shots on my dyna and it ran and sounded great.  Loved the looks as well.

A buddy runs that on an older Deuce and a newer SE Springer.  Runs greats and sounds very throaty.

Yup!  Get a new Tech.
