Fork End Cap - Flush Axle - questions options
« on: May 24, 2013, 11:29:13 AM »

I am looking at replacing the fork end cap. I like the way the Bad as Hell bolts on, but I am not thrilled with the fact that it hangs lower than the fixed side. If you look at reply 22 and 24 in this thread http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=12928.15 you can see what I am talking about. It is pretty noticeable in person, has nobody noticed this before or am I just being to picky? Does anybody know how the FBI cap compares?

Does anybody besides Bad as Hell make a cap that bolts on with the stock hardware? Not thrilled about removing the studs out of the fork legs.

Opinions/thoughts??

Whether it hangs lower or not it still looks better than one side round and one side square!  ;)

I have yet to come across a flush fork cap that is a different size. I imagine that is due to the thickness required for the mounting hardware.

You are not removing the stock studs..he supplies 12pt nuts to bolt the cap on with. And now that you mention it, I did just notice it is a little lower than the other side......But I am still happy with mine!!!!!
