Thanks for reminding me though of all of the great things in this area! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [highlight]Are your fingers tired?? [/highlight];D

Now other than a couple, you know I did not type all that.

I typed the foilage, crisp air, motorcycling and BEER!   [smiley=givemebeer.gif]

I'm with Donna on the France location.  But, with current employment, there is no way we will ever earn enough to move their.  Just dream.  I understand about looking around the country/world to see who has something better, and where we live now has never been on the top of the list of places either of us would like to live, but we make the best of it, and it is fun learning about the history and the culture of all areas we have ever been too.  I just love pulling out of our driveway onto a windy two lane road, riding in the mountains only minutes away or going to the beach, also only minutes away.  The Southern ways were hard to understand for this Canadian born gal, but once you figure it out, it is natural.  Why you are somewhere may not be altered, but how you look at your location is entirely up to you.

Now, all that said, my husband spent two months in Alabama last year, and he would really like to look at that state as a retirement state, along with a few others.    Who knows?   ;)

Sounds like B'ham's a place to consider for retirement, then. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
