Amen to that!

As much as it would be wonderful to have that Demon in the garage, I'd take that '67 Charger sitting behind it  :2vrolijk_21:

Very nice Demon.  I'm with Haird, I'd rather have the Charger sitting behind it.

Pretty good guess on the year it’s a 66

I had a 50-50 shot with just the rear of the Charger to go with.  I almost went '66 but from what I could make of the rear emblem on the trunk it made me pick '67.  Actually, both years had similar rear ends/quarter panels.

Heck, I'd take it, either year.... ;D :2vrolijk_21:

70 factory Hemi-Cuda I owned. Raced it in SS/DA, 1970 - 1972. Direct Connection parts book parts, .590 Isky Torqemaster Cam, Edelbrock "Rat Roaster" intake manifold, 2 modified AFB 4 bbl. carbs, JR. Headers, Vitar modified 727 Torque Flite trans. with Hurst line lock. Flexolite fan, 513 rear gears, with homemade pinion snubber. Firestone yellow dot 2 11" slicks, and a Milodon aluminum oil pan with a hole in the sump for the steering drag link
Car ran 10.70's, 125, on an 11.05, 121 mph record. Qualified # 5 out of 46 cars Indy Nat'ls 1971. I also drove the "Hurst Gasser Passer" Prefect BB/A at that race.
John
I sold the car for $5500.00 in 72.

I'm guessing at the time that was a good idea...still feel that way today, John?

I'm still pining over my 1962 Corvair convertible and that was 37 years ago.  Obviously not a Dodge with a Hemi but still it's the one I regret to this day selling.

Had a high school friend whose dad was a salesman at one of the local Chevy stores and his demo was a black '62 Corvair Monza Spyder convertible.  You better believe that after his folks were asleep for the night we had many fun times with that car.

Haird,
I was selling cars at Arrow Chrysler-Plymouth then, and the market was flooded with muscle cars. We even had a yellow 440 Plymouth "Super Bird" that went begging. Couldn't give it away, so I figured $5500.00 was a good deal at the time for the Cuda. Besides I built it on the dealers money, and didn't have to split anything.
Was at Mecum last week, and Hemi Cuda's were bringing well into 6 figures. It is what it is.

Nice memories John. What a thrill it would be to own that Super Bird now. Forget the value part, more just to have a memory of the power days. Besides it was Yellow, it had to be a winner....lol

A friend of mine has one on order they sell for $110k+ depending on buyers fee from dealer. You actually have to sign a waiver form to just order the car. Insurance is very high for this car. I have heard a lot if insurance companies are cancelling the policies. That is one bad ass car.
