Keep riding safe.  I am now over 215,000 on the bike.  Not as much mileage adding on as I have 2 bikes now to ride.  Using this one as my primary commuter back and forth to work, that is nearly 100 miles a day.

You guys are posting some very impressive mileage numbers.  Hell, I thought I was doing good......tell everybody this is the most reliable Harley I've ever owned at 79,030 miles on my 2013 CVO Ultra Classic.  Fulsac baffles and header and a tuner....stock, other than that.  Jim at Metal Dragon has done all of my 10k services and he just replaced a weeping top end gasket.  Full synthetic only.

I'm leaving back to Northern California in a couple of weeks then back home to Tucson.  Then headed up over Beartooth Pass to the Beartooth Motorcycle Rally in Montana in July.  I know of a few others that are up around the 100k mile mark.  I remember when the thinking was a Harley with 60k miles was ready for a rebuild.

I'll agree, its my favorite road.  My wife and I have road it many times.  Usually when heading home to east TN from Sturgis we make ac slight detour to ride Beartooth on the way home.

Probably my second most favorite ride here in the US.  By far, the Million Dollar Hwy from Ouray to Durango, Colorado is still my number 1 favorite ride!

Beartooth Pass and Million Dollar Highway are both fantastic rides, no doubt about it.

However, if you're ever in British Columbia do yourselves a favour and ride Trans Canada Hwy #1 from Spences Bridge south to Hope through Fraser River Valley and you'll be riding my all-time favourite ride.  I've ridden it south to north, but for the best views the best is from north to south.

Mountains on both sides of a raging river, CP Rail up one mountain base and CN Rail up the other, both going through multiple tunnels along the way.  It truly is a beautiful place, that wouldn't be complete without a visit to Hell's Gate.

It would actually be really cool to do all three roads on one tour just to see them one after the other, but my money is on #1 in BC after doing all three albeit at different times.

With everything else that BC and Alberta has to offer, it will definitely be worth the trip, and I hope you get there someday.  You won't be disappointed.

Ride safe,
Mike

PS - I almost forgot - Congrats on hitting 200,000, very impressive!

It's hard to narrow down my favorite roads, but If I had to pick a top three right now, it would be Beartooth, Million Dollar Highway, and Going to the Sun Road.

We leave on the 28th from Central Indiana for a 17-day trip up the Banff National Park area. We'll get up into Jasper and overall have a list of must-sees. This trip may very well rearrange my favorites list!

Hey Scott,

I'm certain you will have a fabulous time enjoying many marvelleous roads & sights.  No doubt you will have a tough choice which is your favourite road to ride after this tour.

I'm confident if you take TC #1 from Spences Bridge south to Hope in BC you will be riding a "dream road" as previously mentioned - my favourite without a doubt.

I've taken the liberty of suggesting a add-on to your tour so you get the best of BC while you are so close, and it would be a shame to miss it.

Not sure if that link will work but I wish you luck in viewing it and a great time on the road.

Take care & ride safe,
Mike

PS - If you do decide to take the extra tour, be sure after Kelowna you head north on the Westside Road for an amazing ride along the shores of Okanagan Lake

I appreciate you taking the time to draft all that up! With how much time we have, we won't get too far west of Banff. However, I will keep this and there is no doubt in my mind we will head back within the next couple years. You still gave some some options we can realistically visit on the upcoming trip. I will post back once we are home!

I’d have to agree about some of the roads in BC, just beautiful!
We did that years ago on one of the 3Flags ride (Mexico, US, Canada).

Many nice roads also in the southern states as well.
Wife and I did a 5 month road trip around the US to “see the sights “. Did the 4 corners of the US as part of the trip and hit all the states.

Now, most of my rides are along the west coast mostly north of LA.
Love the northern CA, Oregon and Washington coast. Many awesome roads along the coast mountains.

We have our first AirBnB booked. June 2nd through 5th in Invermere. It looks like we'll be in a great spot to explore, then we'll find another place to stay at least 2-3 hours north to do exploring in Jasper for a few days.
