Reverse gear

Has anyone put a reverse gear on their bike and is it worth it

I've added reverse to my last four bikes. It's an expensive luxury but I have short legs and bad knees and can't push my bike back if I'm on the slightest grade. For me, it's worth it to not have to worry about where I park.

Totally agree with the prevoius comment, short legs plus being 63 years old, plus 330kg bike equal trouble when moving bike backwards up my driveway, put on the baker drivetrain reverse, exspensive, works really well, did have a bit of trouble installing, even after informing Baker of my setup, that being the D&D Fatcat exhaust, the extra width of the system (solinoid etc) it did mean the lower pipe hit, so had to modify (lots of heat and big hammer). but one of those modificatios you will not regret.
