I'm anxious to see whats in store for the 08 CVO models, what models, paint, etc.  Upon speculation with the local dealer, we believe the street glide or road glide for the touring.  I love the look of the springer but they are all saying that HD is not going to produce the springer becuase of the cost of the front end.  I'd love to see another road king, because I would want one, but the I test drove one in Daytona and didn't like the riding position.  And the paint was not wild enough for me, I'm used to Nebula Yellow and Cobalt Blue.  The dealership feels a sportster coming, however I dont think that theres a big market for a CVO sporty.  Not to mention i dont think the dyna's sold as well as the springers, RK, and jesters.   :nixweiss:

They are definetely going to continue with a big tourer, they gotta make a tone of $ for those being over 30K!!!  But they are the best sellers in the cvo lineup, you cant find one, you gotta order one.  Whether its the ultra, road glide, or street glide is the question.  My dad would trade in his SE Fat boy and 103 raod glide for a se road glide in a heart beat.  I would consider it as well, they ride like a dream!

The big tourer will be there, I'm pretty sure....the dynas didn't have the quick/mass selling appeal the moco expected.

However, I would think it would behoove the moco by having a Sportster CVO....there's a bigger market for that type of bike than one might think...at least in our area anyway.  Plus, the sporty's are especially popular with the lady riders everywhere....think of market share and volume....that's the moco vision.  More and more women are getting into riding for themselves and not being passengers.  Most new women riders seem to start with the Sportster, for whatever reason.   Offer up a CVO Sporty to the masses and watch what happens.

I herd it may be a Buell Blast ,the MOCO thinks they can keep the temps down on a single cyl. bike if they add a oil cooler and rad. hope it works :D :D :D

No offense Skippy, but you got to be crazy if you think that the Moco is going to put the CVO stamp on a Buell.  They already produced a race ready buell this year made of carbon fiber.  They will not put the cvo stamp on anything but a total hd bike.  I can agree with EZRIDER that there is a possibility that there would be a sporty in the mix for next year.  However the market is slow for sportsters.  If you go into any dealership the sporty's are a dime a dozen.  Yea the ladies are customizing them and they are the entry level bike, thats what I started with.  However is there a market for a 18K sporty??? I dont think so.  So I think we should be looking for a heritage softail, either a road glide or street glide, and maybe another dyna.  We maybe surprised with another RK but I wouldn't think of buying one until they make the paint a little more radical like the 02's.  HURRY UP JULY!!!!  Our OCD  for new products can only stand so much.  Later, mikeyd

I don't know about a CVO Sportster, but it seems that all of the new Nightsters are leaving the floor as soon as them come in at Bumpus.  It's the only Sporster that has really caught my eye and made me think that I might like to have one.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Road Glide or Street Glide.  I'm thinking that the SERK will come with the tour pack included.

Yup, the Nightsters are cool looking and they do sell quickly.  The 50th anniv. editions went before most people even knew they exisited.

I still think there is a market for a CVO Sporty...even if it is $18k or so.   At one time I never thought I'd ever spend roughly $30k on a RoadKing either....it's all in what you like and can afford.

OK, I will throw everyone a curve ball. With the MoCo partnering with Lehman what about a CVO touring trike? That wouldbe right in the $$ for the MoCo at around 45K..

I say no way on the Dyna or the Springer.  They are not selling anywhere near like the rest of the line.  Also, they can be had quite easily for under MSRP.  The laws of supply and demand are at work here  (usually works the other way for the Moco :P)

My "official" guess is as follows:  08 Ultra CVO, , 08 Street Glide CVO, 08 Softail Custom CVO, 08 Road Glide CVO
