2024 CVO Street Glide GPS frozen
« on: June 06, 2024, 08:09:07 PM »

I had the 1k mile service completed on my bike today however when i left the dealership i noticed the GPS was frozen and showing an area im not familiar with. I stopped for dinner omw home thinking it would reset but it did not still showing the same location. I also stopped for gas omw home and again the GPS returned to the same frozen location. Any ideas for resetting the GPS? I couldn't go back to the dealership because they were closing as i left and i dont want to make another hour trip to the dealership if i can correct the problem.

Park the bike out in the open. Turn it on and then pull the main fuse then turn the bike off. Leave the fuse out for about 30 seconds. Power the bike back up and leave it on for about 5 minutes and see if that helps. Make sure your battery is fully charged.

I have had a couple of issues with the infotainment center on my 2024 CVO road glide. Pulling the main fuse has fixed it each time.

Well i tried removing the master fuse but it did nothing to fix the issue. I am now back at the dealership and they have been working on it for a couple hours and cant seem to fix it either.

If and when you get everything fixed, I have found that if I wait 30 to 60 seconds after turning the ignition on before starting I have less issues with the infotainment center. I have owned mine for a few months and about 2500 miles. I have experienced loss of music, Loss of GPS, and a few other buggy things, but being patient before starting the bike and I have had a lot less issues.

Good luck

They did an update and hard reset on the navagation system and seems to have fixed the problem for now.

Thanks for the start up advice as well.
