I asked David about making these in stainless and he went ahead and cut one out for me. I received an email letting me know he shipped a SS and Steel version. When I get them I'll hit the chromers and get a price to chrome the steel and to polish the SS.

They're Here!

I received an aluminum and a SS piece. They look great IMO. They are currently raw and I will be hitting the chromer/polisher tomorrow to get some finish pricing. I went ahead and hit the end with the buffing wheel to see how they will clean up. NICE. The SS version was cut from a piece of scrap so it is a little rough surface wise. The final version will be made from good production material.

I asked for a price on Alum, SS and Steel. With a little luck I'll have some final numbers here shortly.

The thickness. The alum is the thicker of the two and considerably lighter.
