Took me a while to figure it out also...but I remember in another thread somewhere
a guy had it all apart and was tracing wires. I still couldnt laugh cause it took me a
while to figure it out. I pushed on it first and it didnt work...mine you have to push
real hard.

:orange:

I found the switch for the Tour Pak light- Use your fingernail and press right in the center of the light. The dealer told me mine was burned out (from the factory) but I found the switch tonight. It will not turn off when you close the lid  :( but at least it works!

Tim

How do you know that for sure???

Isn't that scary when the dealer doesn't even know how to work a simple light in the tour pak. Kind of like when they don't know the answer so they give ya (that's normal) answer.

That is a bit strange. But when you look at how many SEUC bikes they have to sell it does (in a demented way) make sense. And 1/2 of 1 percent of total production keeps the numbers a bit low too.

Tim, you're fitting right in here! You are lucky however that 2ln is on vacation. I'm sure he would have figured a way to give you double secert probation status even though you're a newbie.  ;) ;D :orange:

Man, that's make me feel better.  I thought I was going to get thrown into the "mystery" button category.

I was looking, pushing, tearing apart the tour pak looking for the switch.  You would think they would add a sentence to the manual to prevent all of us brain surgeons from wasting our time hunting for the switch ;D

I had the lid open, the light on and it DOES go off in about 5 minutes. So we don't have to sweat dead batteries!

I guess I spent three days worrying over this thing.  Once I figured it out, I knew just how stoooopid I really am.
