Detonator Billet Sprocket

I was told by my dealer that there isn't a detonator spocket that fits our bike. Is this right? Are there other options of a chrome sprocket that matches our wheels?  Thx.

Ummmm, which bike to you have?  Believe there is a Detonator sprocket for the Sporties and Softails but not for the Dyna and Touring models.

There is one, but it's just no longer available from MoCo. The P/N is 40496-04 list price was $349.95 when I got mines 6/05. You may want to check some more dealers to see if they just happen to have one in stock, or your dealer can check the dealer network and see if another dealer has one in stock.

If you are able to find one don't forget to get the Chrome Hardware Kit P/N 94773-00A $29.95. My Parts Manager knew how I have a chrome addiction and reminded me when I was ready to have mines installed that the stock hardware (bolts) weren't chrome and would look like chit.

I think it's been a dead part number for almost a year now D00d.  You stealth chromed that baby while you still could.  Just for grins I plugged the part number in to Chicago Harley and Zanotti. 

Zanotti says "no part number" but Chicago still has it active.  Maybe that means they have old stock.  At least worth a phone call.

Ah chit Gary, the Crown/7's are flowin' and I am just happy as hell we got onto this subject.  I dang near did the inner but Cindy (you know this is Cindy's bike) just didn't see it as a big add right now.  

She is a bit more interested in here CVO project that is front and center in her mind...............below

Chip, I'm sorry man.  But you just ain't never gonna grow up to be a big tall black dude.  I mean, sure, the pigment thing we could at least work on.  But that stretching stuff would just hurt like hell.

I'm betting if you get her project just they way she wants it in return you'll have a lot of leverage to get what you want. Who knows if there is something coming out in a couple of weeks you really like then taking care of her should get you a "free pass". ;)
