Thanks man. Did I read you traded the B&O?

That's silly. Everyone knows full face helmets with bib overalls is a bozo no-no. the fashion police might arrest you.

Just put her up for sale.  I'm going to look for something different. I really don't want to mess with any of the engine stuff, but if she does not sell, I may have to.  How is yours holding up?  Any leaks?  I may go for an 08 Ultra (non CVO) or Street Glide with ABS and a Rocker-C.  I pay a good finders fee if you can help me sell her ;D

OIilleak at 5500 miles. Fixed at 8500 miles. It's got 16,000 miles and so far...cross my fingers...no mo leaks.

How much of a finders fee? Big enough & I'd buy it myself.  ;D Maybe with two...I could keep one running?

Glad to hear yours is all "healed up".  I'm going to shoot you a pm and ask a few more questions about her (the bike).

As far as the finders fee, let's start with a case of your favorite beverage and work up from there.  I could even be persuaded to throw in a few pair of official CVO/VROD bibs if you really come through. :D

Congrats on the new bike.

Trailered the V-Rod to Gainsville where it's sunny and warm, compared to home. I've got 300 miles on her...and all I can say is...Don't buy one of these for your teenager. He wouldn't live a week. This thing is FAST!!!!I'm still not winding it up all the way, but, I'm not sure I've got the nerve to. I twisted pretty hard on it the other day and the back end got squirrely on me before I knew it. I sure wouldn't want to be w/o my dresser, but I feel fortunate to have this one to play around on. It's a lot of fun.

Met up with Rob May yesterday and he's a great guy like most of the other members of this site. He's got a beautiful blue 07 SEUC. I've got to talk him into meeting us all at the next gathering. He bought the beers yesterday. Anyone who buys me beer is a friend of mine.

By beer, do you mean 1 or must it be in the double digits to gain the "friend" status ;D

Bolted on some parts today. Tab Performance mufflers. Gives it a deep throaty sound. Too wet to ride today, so hard to tell if I like it or not.

Ken...I like the looks of those on the bike.  I hope you are pleased with the sound after you can get it outside the garage where you can tell more about it.  Rainy here too, but the next couple of days promise to be sunny and in the 60's during the day...

Question:  Does the 08 V have two O2 sensors?

Terry, I think I'm going to like them. It sounds....well..Awesome, as far as I can tell. I like the looks of them too. They're shorter, so they don't use any of the brackets etc. They simply clamp right to the headers. They send some of safety screw to drill through the clamp and into the pipe, BUT, I can't see them coming off. I've got it as tight as I dared w/o twisting off the bolt. Instructions say..YOU CAN NOT TWIST THE BOLT OFF. Err..Bet I could. I could tear up a steel ball with a rubber mallet.

yea, the 08's have 02 sensors.
