So I might as well ask.

Charlie, what's your take on the 110 motors and the issues surrounding them?
You know, leaking cylinders and shifting cylinder liners.
Have you built any and how did they run?

Glad your here!

i have heard this rumor about the 110 cylinder issue, i have not seen problem as of yet. what is strange there are alot of 110 engines here in phoenix and with the hot temperature we should have really seen this to be an issue. is harley standing behind the problem? the only part of the 110 engines i have seen are the heads and think they have a good casting to work with. charlie

Charlie,

I rebuilt this motor with heads, cams, lifters, rocker arms supplied by Wes Brown at Cycle Rama, Feuling Cam Plate, Feuling Oil Pump, CP pistons, S&S pushrods, Axtell Cylinders, HPI Throttle Body, Cometic Gaskets, TP Rocker Boxes...  I use a Power Commander.  The winter weather has prevented me from getting any dyno work done or and riding time on it...

Scott

Here is the finished product...

Charlie

Please understand that your on a site for Screaming Eagles where all 07's and 08's have the 110 motor.
Site members have had many issues with these motors and are constantly looking for help and or someone that has seen the issues and knows what to do to fix the problems.
You have a great reputation on this forum and PLEASE don't be offended when you are asked about how you would go about correcting issues. As a businessman I know you know that not all can be pleased. Help us and we all will be winners in the deal. But again please don't be offended when someone questions your impute.
No two people think the same and have the same solutions.

As I said, glad your here!

Charlie,

It's great to see you here. I always like reading your stuff on the Yahoo boards in years past. I look forward to hearing your input once again.

I too have had the leaky HG's replaced only to have the leak return. Still haven't done second repair yet.
