Steve,
These statements would concern me...

This bike was a theft recovery that was purchased from the insurance company. It has a clean title, but has an insurance brand on its history. The milage reads 2,011 on it but unfortunitly has to be sold exempt. Some insurance companies do that to eliminate extra paper work and certification. Two wheels were put on it. A black 9 spoke cast is on the back and a chrome Street Glide wheel is on the front. Both passenger foot boards are scuffed, the raido is not working properly, and the tank has a small dent in it. I took pictures of all those.

Different wheels...why wouldn't they return the wheels to stock...dent in the tank...they would get more if it was repaired...scuffs here and there.

So, why would not they put the money into it, as a dealer at dealer cost and labor, knowing they would get that return on investment.

I think that insurance thing is a bigger deal than we know...

Not real sure, but that and the mileage thing having to be exempt concerns me. Does this mean that the mileage isn't exact, could it be more, a lot more?? Maybe there are some members in the insurance industry that can give you more details.

If I can't insure it correctly or have an issue registering it, that would be very bad.....

No one commented on the engine area in the pictures,  Is there anything that looks odd?

Thanks

Unfortunately the Big Man is once again right on here.  They are too cute by half saying it's a "clean title" but bought from an insurance company with a "brand."  It's going to show salvage in its history.  Period.  Even in perfect shape that knocks hell out of the value.  And this one is in far from perfect shape.

The pictures are so poor it's hard to tell much Steve.  Everything is too far away to see but a very general view except the couple that zoom in to show the dents.

Only thing I noticed was the pipe discoloration near the muffler. Going to go jump on the PC and see if I can see anything else.

Still can't see/tell anything about the motor. Tried d/l a couple pictures and blowing them up but they get to distorted to really see anything. With the things that have already been mentioned I'm not even sure if it would be worth trying to find a member near there to go take a look and get more pictures for you. :nixweiss:
