Nope, not even a little bit.  Checkered flag needs white.  Red and white on this bike would look crappy.  The two darker shades of red wouldn't have enough contrast to make the effort worthwhile.  So not so much for this bike.

Before starting this thread. I had considered the relevant value of the information contrasted with the possibility it was not true.  I decided to let it fly with the appropriate disclaimer.  Seems like that was the right thing to do given all the fun we've had discussing it.  I broke the news last year on the 6 gallon tank and think my source is every bit as reliable.  Time will tell.
