New SERG?
« on: July 07, 2008, 09:33:57 PM »

Over the last two years a lot of people here have complained about the leather tour pacs on the SEUC's. I don't know if the MoCo was listening or not, but they now have a King TP. There has been a lot of talk about people wanting a SERG. No one (here) knows for sure  if they will or not yet but... Wanting and buying are two different questions. If the MoCo unveils a new Screamin Eagle Road Glide for 2009 would you buy one? What if it was available with an engine other than the 110'?  I know that a lot of people will want to add "extras" but that is what the P&A catalog is for. I just talking about a SERG.

I'm just not ready for another try at the fairing thing just yet. Not even on my SERK! JMO :)

And the real question is, will you have one?

That is a very good question Chip. One that I cannot answer right now. I've never ridden a fixed fairing bike before. I know the '00 was the bike that sparked my interest in the Screamin Eagle line and I now own one. Time will tell.

That was meant to infer that we don't know if one will be produced.

Good poll.  It will be interesting to see how members here (current CVO owners) vote.  Hopefully, enough of them will come down here to "bottom feeder" territory to see the thread. ;D

If I hadn't purchased the '00 last fall, I'd probably be interested, depending on what the paint schemes end up looking like, but d@mn, after having one of these original ones and knowing how nice it rides/performs/looks and how dependable it's so far been, trading for a new one is the furthest thing from my mind. :nixweiss:

Because the least used one is the Lowrider and Nancy saves that for when you get out of line!

 :2vrolijk_21:

My pockets are not bottomless pits like some peeps I know around here, so I would have to trade. ;D  Even if funds were no issue, the 3 car garage is busting at the seams with 3 bikes, 2 trucks and a car all parked inside. :shocked2:  Hmmm, guess I could hang it from the ceiling if I got one, though. :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2: :drink:
