Could this have been the concept bike ?  I saw it on the way to Sedona at Tortilla Flat.  Notice the fairing paint, little windshield, bag fillers with led lights. Even then no bag extender things though, must have come later.    Doc

Certainly a visual cousin.  Too bad no one knew then to look for frame differences to see what it was.

The side panels look to be single moldings with the fender in that picture.  That's more effort than the MoCo went to.  Can't see low enough to know if there's a tail on the fender also or what size the rear tire is.

Might only be someone's nice done custom job.  If so whomever it belongs to is owed a few six packs by the Motor Company.  Because they stole (and simplified) some of his work.

Just took more than a first impression of the photo.  Looks like J&M speaker/grilles.  Non-Harley handlebars also.  Couple of other things that are are also recognizably other manufacturer than MoCo.  So it's not the company's mule.  Certainly gives an idea of what some greater finish effort might have done for the new SERG though.  It's a sweet looking bike at least as it stands in that photo.
