Homes For Our Troops Sgt. Jeff Guerin

I thought I would share some pics of an amazing event that Raquel and I attended today. This was the "Key Presentation Ceremony" to a home that was built for this injured soldier. Raquel worked very hard on this home along with many others. I'll start with a pic of us entering. The house is on the left and you can also see the Patriot Guard standing with Old Glory.  :2vrolijk_21:

This home is very nice. A lot of very generous people volunteered their time here and it showed. Nothing compared to the sacrifice that Sgt. Guerin has made for our country.

Sgt. Guerin isn't the only hero in this story.  Can't tell you the respect I have for you and Raquel being a part of this.  Real Americans in the finest sense of the word.     :2vrolijk_21:

I'm very proud of my wife for the work she did here. Met some really cool people here. Raquel and I met a guy named Joe who was at the Battle of the Bulge. Holy crap this guy was a walking piece of history. He was having a tough time walking across the street to his car and said "wouldn't it be something...I made through combat in WWII and now I'm gonna get takin' out by a car" with a great big smile. I really felt honored to be here today.
