Intro

Hello,
My name is Ross, from 10530 NY.
Just sold my '02 FXDXT.
Love the road glide, which will probably be my next bike.

Big problems deciding whether to go with the new platform,,
or should I save some $$$ and go used.

My dream is the '09 CVO road glide, but I just can't afford that;
7 month old son, shopping for a house, etc...

However, the older CVO FLTRSEI2's get my attention.
Maybe I'll find one here for the right price?
Who knows.....  Hopefully so!

Hey, no shame in owning a good used bike.  Don't strap yourself with a big bike payment.  Do your research - some of the prior year bikes are tried & true -proven to be good bikes.  The 09's?... well that remains to be seen  :nixweiss:

Find yourself a good used bike - save some $$$ and spend it on the kid  ;)

Welcome from Minnesota! Bought an '01 DWG2 this summer with 4K miles and couldn't be happier. Lots of lightly used, well cared for bikes out there. You can either save some money or get some nice mods on used CVO's and generally the owners babied the crap out of them. Go used and save the initial hit!

 No shame whatsoever in buying a used bike, someone else has done all the add-on goodie expense stuff...save for other things. There are alot of sites available to search used bikes. Best of luck!
