Same here, local dealer told me last week  he has 4 coming in this quarter and wished he could get 10 silvers because he could easily sell them. I am scratching my head because I went in last week to see if a silver was going to be available but maybe I'm being overly paranoid but I'm still scared of the 110 :nervous:. Maybe once spring gets here and I can see quite a few more miles on some of these 09's without leaking problems. :nixweiss:

Isn't the MSRP $30,999 ? Another question, this bike is now used, so you would only be elligible for a used bike warranty is that correct ? I ask, because I'm hoping to buy one of these used in a couple of years, and I am keeping track of pricing from what the average price was new until I finally write the check on a used one. I know this probably sounds obtuse, but hell you know me well enough to know my mind spins counterclockwise to the rest of the world.

B B
B B, are you speaking of the Extended Service Contract?  Here is my understanding and if I am wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.  But if the bike is still in the factory warranty period (under 2 years from date of purchase) then I think you could purchase the Extended Service Contract (which we have all come to understand is not actually a 'warranty').  I purchased one for my '07 the month before it's factory warranty expired - no problem.  I don't think you have to be the original owner to do this.  The key is that it must still be in the factory warranty period.

For pre-owned bikes out of factory warranty you can purchase an Extended Service Contract but I think the bike purchase must be from a dealer.  Don't think you can purchase a pre-owned bike out of factory warranty from an individual and then put the H-D Extended Service Contract on it.

Mark, I can see that you are starting to weaken.  I predict you'll succumb before long.  Then you'll be singing the praises of the 110 to the high heavens.

Mine too!  :2vrolijk_21:

You get first dibs then Jerry.

Elvis would be a fine addition to your garage and I'd sleep well knowing that

One way or the other, Elvis should stay "in the family".  ;D

OK Mark, we're already working together to find a suitable home for Elvis so you need to get busy getting that SERG.

;D You think Kathy might not notice any difference between Elvis and a 09 Silver SERG? I wonder if she will buy "what? That bike? I have had that one, just did a cheap paint job on it." or better yet, "honey the kickstand was wearing out on the gold bike and I was afraid it was going to tip over and hit your car." ;D ;D ;D

Why don't you simply park the bikes at your shop and only take home one she's used to seeing (like the Banana)  ?

I would but I understand Elvis doesn't like SALT! ;D
Plus the resort we are in does not allow motorcycles on property, they have to be parked in an open unprotected parking lot or stored off site. Really sucks. :(

Well the only deal I can offer you for Elvis is the one Whimpy used to make moochin Hamburgers on Popeye.
