HML:  I don't know about "acting" like you don't like motorcycles.  My hubby isn't acting.  He doesn't want ME to have anything to do with motorcycles either.  I haven't had ANY luck talking any of my women friends into riding either.  I get wide eyed stares, comments like, "Are you *** crazy?", or my personal favorite..."I didn't think you were that kind of person."   ???   Ah, cliches, doncha love them!

Admiral:  Thanks for the invite.  I'll put that on the calendar.  Can't make any promises, since I've just had the bike since October 31, I'm still making shorter trips and staying well away heavy traffic.  I know HWY 36 though, could jump on it at Brenham.  How far is that from Brenham?  I'm in training...gotta get those miles and experience up for the trip to Eureka Springs!!!

WHOA!  That makes it 130 miles from where I live.....might be a tad too far there and back for one day.  Have to work up to that.

   Hey Vixen,

I'm in the same boat my wife don't like bikes or any thing to do with them. she thinks I'm crazy, but she don't bother me when
I go out riding, have fun and be care full thats all she says. But to tell you the truth I like it that way, She gets nervous when I'm
driving our cage we live in NYC. So I don't push her to ride with me,Don't need a nervous Nellie as a BSR. Not that your husband is
a nervous person or a BSR He's just not into it. So enjoy your ride because thats you !!!
So ride safe and build up those miles girl.

Figured it'd be worth a shot.  At least she loves to ride with me.  She occasionally speaks of riding on her own, and I'm willing to support that, but when it comes down to crunch time to head out for the MSF course..............she's "too busy doing Girl Stuff."  Her words......not mine.  One thing I won't do is push..........only makes things worse.   :2vrolijk_21:
