OK, I fixed my post!

A green belt cover and a green sprocket.

I went back and looked, that might be very interesting!

Keep it simple.

Chrome belt cover and green sprocket.
That would be cool!

My sprocket will be silver!
When it's tire time!

Just went out and looked.  That would be schweet!  Don't think a chrome cover would fit anyway.  Too close to the swingarm.

This thing (chrome belt guard) has been sitting on my "to install" shelf for a while.  Finally installed it today.

Still undecided on a path forward for the sprocket.  Perhaps I'll hunt one down and send it off for green powdercoat as originally discussed.  Whatever I do, it won't get installed until I get new tires.

My thoughts also.  Not sure about doing the sprocket in matching color  ......  it would be different tho, and you won't know until you do it.  I'm confused as usual.   :confused5: spyder

Thanks, Gary!  As much as I love my D&D, it did leave a glaring bare spot on the left side, and I'm not about to put a Falsie on there.  I think the 2 into 1 is an awesome look by itself.
That sprocket is bothering me tho'.

I'm not sure either, Spyd.  I keep coming back to the thought simply because it would be different.  I'd powdercoat only the inner part, and leave the outer part polished.  I wonder tho'..........if I'd need to take the bolts and washers into consideration out of concern for boogering up the powdercoat.  Chrome cover idea is a NOGO.  Not enough swingarm clearance, and I think a chrome sprocket would be "too much" chrome.  It needs contrast, IMO.   :2vrolijk_21:

Patience, Grasshoppah!  Hunting the right donor sprocket takes time.   :)
