Last year on my RK Classic, I grabbed the tail end of a group of bikes that passed me.  We rode a stretch of between 30 and 40 miles and they kept it consistent between 100 and 105 mph.  The gal on the back get screaming in my ear, "Dave, what are you doing?  What the %$^# are you doing?"  I kept telling her that I was just keeping up with the group.  She told me she's fine up to 90 or so, but she would really like it if I just not do that again.  So, of course, the next time I had her up to the 100 mph mark, I asked why she didn't say anything.  She told me it wasn't that bad when we aren't doing it for a long stretch.  Point taken.  I prefer cruising between 70 and 80, with the occasional burst into the 90's and just over 100.  I'm anxious to get the SEUC past break-in and dyno'd and such, and see how fast feels comfortable on it.  I have a feeling 100 mph won't be quite the same experience as on the RK.

I had my old bike, 05 FLHRCI, clocked on the race track at 154. Felt outfrigginstanding. I get this urge, not deathwish, to roll on it just to get the blood and adrenalin flowing. have had the SERG to 115 so far. will push it as soon as i am done with the tune.

LarryB, I didn't think there was a road in Tennessee straight enough to go that fast!  Or is that your speed between the curves? :2vrolijk_21:

What kind of gear and motor does it take to run 154. I have a Road Glide that has been 142 with a GPS i must need more motor.

The SERG is definitely faster in the 6th gear .
At 5th gear and full throttle is nearly at the red limit of rpm ( 5000 1/min )but only about 192km/h ( 119,3 mph ) messured with the TomTom Gps ( the speedometer shows here about 205 km/h ( 127,38 mph ) .
limit on speedo is 220km/h ( 136,7 mph ).
 At the 6th gear mine goes up to 212 km/h ( 131,73 mph ) by TomTom gps , speedo is here over the end allready .
Stock configuration and stock wind-deflector , heavy buffeting but perfect pressing on the street , fabolous .
I am looking forward the signature solo seat with rider backrest to hold the backpressure and to mount the CEE baileys 15" dark grey .
What a monster scooter , i just allways can repeat this .
This is not my every day kind of riding , but experiences have to be made , and this was one .
 Rode about 355km ( 220 miles ) with nearly all the way by full throttle .
Result : 2 fully loaded gastanks are blown out . Ups .  ::) ::) ::)
