Thanks gang,,,,, I have not yet seen the bike but it was rode to their house by one of his friends that was riding behind him.  The dog well did not make it and why the dog was running loose I don't know.   They live in a small town and I don't think they enforce any leash laws.

I was told that there was not that much damage to the bike but I'm sure if you start looking at it you'll start seeing stuff bent up, scratched or broken.
It is from what I been told repairable and the best news is the KiDS are toooooooo!

Again thanks to everyones prayers,,,

Damn unfortunate encounter with the (departed) bow-wow. Glad to hear there was nothing life threatening injury wise, and that they heal fast. Scooters can be repaired or replaced, but family is something else. Angels were cruising the street on that day.  :2vrolijk_21:

Glad to hear everyone is alright!  I don't know what the law is in your state, but in many places the dog owner is liable in such a situation.  Your son-in-law's insurance company will hopefully be on the dog owner like a duck on a june bug....

Just caught this, I cringe everytime I open one of these rider down threads.

Bubba, glad to hear the accident wasn't any worse than it was.  Never a good thing to go down and with your kid on the bike it would be horrific.

We'll say a prayer for their speedy recovery.

JR that's right "PRAISE GOD" it could have been a lot worse.....

An update they are OK but sore.  My son-n-law was pretty goofey last night as the meds was kicking his butt.  They are resting and just chillin...
My daughter is having to be the nurse changing the bandages and what ever else that goes with it.  Good thing it's her and not me as I pass out at the site of it.  :nervous:

All will be back to normal in a week or so......

Again thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers,

Mike pass on our well wishes.

Switching helmets was a great idea and exactly the reason my wife is getting a FF this year whether she likes it or not.
