Kuryakyn Passenger Armrest extension thingies...
« on: October 26, 2005, 03:29:21 PM »

How 'bout that title...

Wendy and I spotted a cool little aftermarket thing while we were @ Biketoberfest. It was an arm rest extension for her (of course she's sure it was made with her needs in mind.. ;)) that bolted to the tour pack hardware. Long Chrome arms with nice pads attached...

Kinda cool. It may be in the way a little, she didn't sit on the bike it was on so we really don't know...

Anyone have it or know about it..??

Phattey...

This is on a Honda...I don't think the LSD kicked in enough for me to think it was a Harley instead...  :-[

God I hope my wife doesn't see that.  She'll want a cocktail bar on the other side.

If anyone, ANYONE shows those to my wife, I will hunt you down and install them on your bike!  She has been asking for something like this for a couple of years.  I told her they do not exist!

OK, Maybe it is only a girl thing then. Ron, Like Wendy, I like it.
I like the title of the thread too.
In fact could I not use this on my tour pak relo situation.
I mean fold the rest out, then pull it back in once on the bike.
Support for my elbows.
Place to put a bottle of water.
I like it.
It is nice chrome.
What is it that you guys thinks makes it look ugly?
And Crawdaddy, I like the way your wife thinks.

My first thought is it looks like someone really had a lot of spare time on thier hands, the little seivel cup holder thingie (sorry Mrs We, couldn't help it) looks like it belongs on a bass boat. For what it is and does, it's almost too much that screams "Look at me! Look at me!"

Now I have done my share of manufacture parts swapping, but trying to retro fit something to my beloved HD that was originally incarnated for a GW, just makes me wonder about my sanity and my relationship to my parents. Other than that, it would do very well on "Pimp my Ride"

JCZ, if you are on wife number 5 ------ you sound like Rodney Dangerfield, but seriously, wake up, look at your stats, and realize  ------ you are not made to get married.

Be the bachelor no girl can tame for ever.   Some people get married for life, some for a while, some for a short bit and some never should.  Your stats are not good.  Your dyno numbers are good, but that married thing...... maybe just have a lot of real good friends.

 ;D

I'm sorry, I know that truthfully this is a painful subject.  After 20 fabulous years with a man I love a million times more today than I ever even knew could exist 20 some years ago, I was married once before.  That was not too long, and now a distant memory.  But it still hurt like crazy when it was over.  Doing that five more times...... I know why you love your SEEG so much.  It is a way to obsess on something that is reliable and fun and oh so reliable.  It always performs as you expect.  JCZ, glad you are here to share your wealth of experience, be it motorcycles or personal.  Experiences is what makes us.
