A use for take-off parts
« on: June 15, 2009, 10:24:08 AM »

I made a bracket to hold my Stealth Rack when not in use by using the take-off 2 point docks

I like the stealth rack too much to take it off, so my rack is just the quick release rack the MoCo built on the bike...  hehehehe   :orange:

Chopped Tour Pak
« Reply #6 on: June 20, 2009, 05:02:23 PM »

Anybody create something to store a chopped tour pak on when not on the bike?  I'm sure in this group there are numerous alternatives, it's just easier for me to copy someone's idea than invent my own.  Assuming I could even think of something let alone create it.

If you're concerned about the weight, mount two blocks on the wall studs (centered 5 3/4 inches?) below the thingy shown above, strap a pipe to the blocks and use that for the front mount load.  Good Luck.

I used some 2 x 4's and some stainless rod. I drilled into the boards about an inch to insert the rod at the desired spacing for fitment and then mounted to the wall securely.
