HP Ipod.  Great.  Play too many songs and it'll get warm enough to induce electronic shutdown.  It'll leak music out the rear speaker jack.  The cosmetic covering will occasionally flake off.  And it'll cost half again more than a standard iPod.

as in Harley. I got a new Black 8g ipod from HD. I didn't order it, no note or info with it. found out it was for being on the Advisory Panel

Congrats! One of the more useful gifts. Now, we have to convince them to start an Advisory Panel in Europe as well, with an iPod as a welcome gift, of course!

I've been on the panel for a couple years now.  Did the survey you are talking about.  Got no ipod.

I was told if you test rode a 09' bike last year that your name was "thrown in a hat" and if you were one of the lucky ones you received a nice 8G Ipod Nano. I bought mine off ebay awhile back for $10.00 more than a normal one. It has the bar and shield engraved in the back and came loaded with the free to ride video from last year and some pictures of the 09' HD line.
