CVO Starter Kit
« on: October 21, 2009, 11:56:22 PM »

I've been hanging around here for a few months so I would like to thank all you guys and gals for helping me put my own personal CVO Starter Kit together. Thats right I have a starter kit for my SEUC that not even here yet. Like you guys say "Let the Mods Begin" - As you can see I'm off to a good start but this is only the beginning. I would like to Thank Heatwave for making it a personal mission of his to help me do it right the first time. I have really been picking his brain. Here's what my kit has so far then next on the list is new tunes and exhaust but that will have to wait until the bike gets here. My ship date from York is next Monday the 26th I hope there running a few days ahead of schedule.
Screamin Eagle Hat
Rider's Claw for my IPhone
Premium Tour-Pak Hinges
Zumo 660
Ram Mounts Socket Arm for Zumo
Chrome Screamin Eagle Shift Linkage
Glove Box Doors from Peter
Kuryakyn Chrome Floorboard Relocators

What in your starter kit?

Great to hear.  Hope you can pick it up by the end of the week (month).  These folks have taught us all well (getting add-on's before the bike).    :2vrolijk_21:

Where did you get the screamin eagle shift linkage?  My neighbor has it on his 2000 SE Road Glide but can't remember where he got it.  I would love to get one.  Thanks...

If you haven’t decided on a tuner yet, I would recommend John Wadsworth. The local dealers will want to install something like the power commander with can a canned map. John will use his dyno and TTS to tune the bike. He can also speak to breather and exhaust options. John is meticulous with his work and at a minimum it’s worth a conversation with him.

Hello my name is Johnny Cash and I got it one piece at a time and it didn't cost me a dime. Sorry that song just came to mind. This pic is of my CVO starter kit of Mods because I do not have my bike yet. I should have it sometime next week, but I will tell you that EVERYBODY on this board will know when it comes in. I can never remember being so gitty about something in my whole life. I always thought that a new CVO was so far out of my reach but a lot of things came together at one time to free up funds for me to have such a over the top toy. School was killing me, I had 2 kids at UofK and 1 at UofL and in the last year there all out so it's my turn. So trust me everybody will know. I do want to say one more thing, when guys talk about there bikes on this board I feel excited for them and I know that I get that in return. This board is to F&%# Cool.

Good looking hat. The linkage is VERY nice - might just get that one also. The hinges I like and can't imagine why the hell HD does not just use them, ok so we can buy them, well heck just add another 100 to the bike and make even more.    And NV, I hope your bike arrives this coming week.  Mine should be returned to me this Saturday or Monday (I frigg'n hope).   I wanna ride, even if it is 50 and raining, I wanna F'n ride!
