I was in Daytona 2 weeks ago for the Bike Week.
Great event... but cold !

I would like to know something :
In front of some bars and saloons, one could read "No Colours No Patch".
Why ?

And when walkin' in the streets, we didn't see HOG colours (or others) on many vests and suits...

On European events, quite everybody wears colours.
Why not on (inter)national event in USA ?

Can anybody explain to an ignorant ?

Some colors don't just don't mix.  They don't play well with others.

the credibility and social behaviour of 1% groups vary a great deal between various countries and continents, in many areas these guys are the real hard core, real deal, in other areas you just have to observe them to see that they wouldn`t stand in good stead in the full-on world that they would like you believe they live in.

For example in the sandinavian countries you will not see a "small patch" "front patch" call it what you will mc club, every tom, dick and bjorn are wearing full colours

The Outlaws are big in Florida , and they don't mix well with the Red & White ..or any others. 

The no colors rule applies in some night clubs I've been to even in Cal .. just keeps the rowdiness down.

Your right on Sonny, he sure has had it tough for a long time but is a good host.

One of the funnier moments in Sonny's autobiography ( well worth the time to read it) was recounting a rookie cop in Daytona telling him to remove his colors. He of course declined, the rookie called it in at Sonny's request.. The desk Sgt told the rookie ..Don't F**** with him .. that's Sonny Barger ..we don't need the trouble.

Despite his colored past , he stands up for what he believes in, and that at least is admirable.

for sure its not!

 thats why hoggies are not supposed to wear top and bottom rockers, although some hog people chose too
