Guess you are right about the looks. Went back and saw the hinges on the outside, which I missed earlier.

I guess I will have to learn to twist and shout with these.  Always had leather bags before this. [smiley=multi.gif]

Funny you should mention that, I was at a stop light on Friday behind 2 motor cops and saw one just reach back and pull out his cordless radar gun to clock traffic. Sneaky, sneaky!

Now that we know (and understand) how they work, we CANNOT have them. They only work on those bags with the "puck" latches. I wish I was a cop...

That brings a question to mind,

Is a motorcycle and rider big enough for a radar gun to pick up?  I haven't had the chance to ever find out.

Yes they are. I know because I ride w/some officers and sometimes when I'm not paying attention and I get "into the pipe". :D I have crested a hill only to see some of my riding buddies running radar and they are grinning as much as I am, and give me the "biker" wave. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

We now are spending people's $s that aren't even on the site!  My friend has a fatboy and he is putting police hardbags on it with ghostbrackets.  When I saw this post I called him since he doesn't like the hockey puck latches.  He ordered these and should be receiving them shortly.
