So far:

1. One bad amp, possibly two

2. Faded speaker grills

3. Cracked paint on bat wing

4. Warped front rotors

2) Clutch Hydraulic Hose Running through he Inner Fairing? Can't it be ran like the Front Brake Hose, though the Handle Bar Opening?

I could not agree more. I purchased a new inner fairing because I didn't want mirror holes, then I had the clutch "cable" hole filled and the GPS mount molded in. Much better!!

On the FLHTCUSE4. Dang oil line running across the top of the voltage regulator.

I'm always surprised that nobody, including the MoCo has come out with a braided line kit for that.....

Travis here locally had an 07 SERK with the same line draped over the regulator.  I remember putting a braided line there on his bike.  Though, now that I think about it a second longer, I think he just used a roll a bulk braided line that we cut to fit....

Yes, I've thought about doing that, Don.  Not as nice (or as expensive!  ;) ) as a kit though....

Every vehicle I've owned for the last 10 years has a tire pressure monitor, why is this not standard on every bike. I'ts way more important info when I'm on two wheels than four. the low profile tires are hard to check by sight

Please allow me to respond to the nay-sayers and tree huggers. Just as Mercury Marine is known for breaking in a new outboard by "run it full blast out of the box", a Harley is not much different with it's "ride it like you stole it" attitude. I spent a whole life building bikes from junk parts and then in 2011 bought my first loaded and maxed out CVO RoadGlide. After plunking down $38,000 cash - I proceeded to destroy my warrantee the first week I owned it. New A/C Big Sucker; new CFR's; new Fulsac x-pipe;new billet cam plate" and new woods 777 cam with bearings and adj pushrods - readjusted several times. Harley can not do this better than myself. Result - the ticking from the factory is louder because the T/B noise emanates through the now non-restricted A/C. ANYTHING you or Harley does to YOUR Harley - for performance, will increase noise. Forget "babying" the thing. It's an American (mostly) Harley and meant to be driven. If you have to take it easy with it - till it breaks - what good is it when it does break down on a valued road trip? Run it like a Merc. or a stolen bike. Glider Ryder

Glider Rider,

I see this is your first post, welcome! Please tell about yourself. You spent a lifetime building bikes out of junk parts. Do you have your own shop, or are you fortunate to have the skills, knowledge ability, and access to tools and a garage to work on bikes when you like?

What kinds of bikes have you owned? Please post pics, we'd all love to see them.
Post a pic of your CVO too!
What part of the states are you in? We have members from all over.

Post up, post often and welcome aboard!

Actually, I'd be willing to bet more than 50% of the parts are now made in China.....

Ironhorse - Thanks for asking and I don't mind sharing info. I live in Houston and was born here making me a rare bird as most people here are from somewhere else. As a young teenager I liked to swim at a local private pool but to pay my way in I would mow yards with lawnmowers I built from Junkers. I used the same techniques for outboards that fueled my desire to fish and as motorcycles were in the picture, this was a natural for me as well. My father left us when I was 15 and I have been working everyday since and am now in the process of retiring. As a kid I acquired a Honda 90 Dream; then a Yamaha 650; a Sportster 900 and a 1000; several Dyna's that I built from used nonworking bikes; finally owning a '88 Lowrider and my first CVO as a '08 Superglide 105th anniversary and my current 2011 FLTRUSE  (CVO). I will try to attach a picture or two here. Yes - I am 'mechanical' but consider that everything works for a reason. Understand the reason and the mechanics of engineering become apparent.

Fugly lower fairing doors on CVO Ultras.

Gas splash back from the most poorly designed gas tank fill tube on any bike I have ever owned.  Capless gas tanks for all CVO's.  Use a splash guard to fill on this POS.  Not a prob on the old 5 gl tank.

And I thought that I was the only one.... 'Don't use splash guard, just takes a while
