I like the looks and hopefully performance of the V&H Power Duals, which use the new "xpipe' technology.
Unfortunately the V& Pages say for 2009 and newer FLHRs.

Are there any other "Xpipe" Headers out there for a FLHR older than 2009?

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, the crossover pipe is where the problem lies.  You can fit a 2009> oil pan to the "older" motor and be good to go.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The pan is required and is a direct swap.  The more difficult part is that there need to be mounting holes for the cross-under pipe mounting in the transmisson case.

Here is everything you need to know

I have 90% of everything at this point to do it on my 06 SE Ultra.  Jan project when it's raining (hopefully) here in Phoenix.

Many Thanks for the information and the link.
Local HD says $96 for the pan, not bad.
