I heard the term "rub" from my step son's girl friend's dad at Thanksgiving this year.  He is supposedly a long time, hard core biker, and he said that he always thought "Rub" referred to biker wannabes who rubbed "real" bikers the wrong way.

Funny thing is, his daughter told me that when he buys new boots, chaps, and jackets, he won't wear them until he takes a brick to them to make them look worn and ratty.

Is that what it takes to be a "real" biker?  How insecure do you have to be to do that?

the guy from the Alsakapade trip was at the artic circle (on his Harley alone) and witnessed a bus pull up, 2 people get off in leather jackets and then put on chaps and took photos in front of the top of the world sign!!!!!!!!!! It don't get any faker than that!!!!!! POSERS!!!!!
