Sweet!   Job well done!

I've become a fan of the Brembo calipers with the color matched screens Matt.  For all the chrome whores among us it's a hard thing to admit we might have too much chrome or that color can be better.  But that's a nice complement.  That we're getting better/bigger brakes in the process when making the change on the classic bikes is more than just icing on the cake.  But damn it's nice when a retrofit both looks cool and works better too :2vrolijk_21: .

Don,
I've so many brake upgrades on other guys bikes, I even sent a grip-o-calipers out to be chromed.  One got damaged in the clean up so guess who never got their chrome brakes??  Me!  I finally have a set.

Thank.....

Here's a comparison for your contrast Matt.  Ours are red (as god intended) but went out to the shop early this morning and put this set back together for a Jalapeno bike.  Dark green screens.  Those screens are a nice place for a color complement.

The pair.  The owner is adding the same emblems we did to their faces.  He's already got them at home though. The calipers have to go in the mail to their new home.

OK, so what's the specs on these calipers and color matched sheilds? I've got a 2012 SESG Ruby Red; do they have an off the shelf color match for my fronts?
Thanks,
Hank

The color matched screens are a high tech endeavor.  Goes something like this:

1) Pop off the screens and bead blast the nuts off of them then clean well.
2) Spray with a good self-etching primer.
3) Walk through the aisles at the store finding a good quality rattle can that's a good paint match
4) Spray the screens (two coats).
5) Clear coat (or spray with Nyalic if you have it [wicked awesome stuff]).
6) Get a full on robot chubby because they look so good.

Alternative to steps 1 through 5 is sending the pieces to a powder coater if you've got a good powder match.  Step 6 stay the same though.  Here's an example with powder coat:
