I have a 2013 Road King CVO and I installed Fuelmoto XXX Ceramic Head pipe with Jackpot Competition Baffles in the stock mufflers and also installed the Power Vision with a tune from Jamie and even did an auto tune. The bike runs good and doesn't pop.

The left muffler is blowing hotter than the right and when you crack the throttle sometimes a flame comes out the left muffler. Anyone have any ideas of why? Do I need some back pressure or what? The left side is supposed to run cooler than the right. Any help would be great.

I'm guessing that you have one cylinder running richer than the other.  Is your left pipe turning blue or yellow?

My left pipe is not turning color. I have the ceramic crossover, but the baffle looks dried out from heat compared to the right side that looks normal. With the XXX head pipe, both cylinders combine and are supposed to do a 60/40 split with 60 to the right and 40 to the left. O2 sensors are hooked up to the right places. Anyone running a free flow system and having same issue ever? I just don't understand why both aren't hot being that they combine? Just wondering if the two 90 degree bends are having an issue with the flow? Backpressure?
I am waiting for Jamie to return my call from yesterday.

I have noticed the same thing, very big difference after a couple miles at highway speed, a lot less pronounced with the XD pipe.
(same build but compared to stock HDI cat flapper pipe)

When stock, on my bike there was a huge difference, a lot hotter on the left side.

Jamie called me back and told me that the cylinders are running right for the tune. We discussed putting something in the left pipe to give a little back pressure, like a cone, to keep the ignition back in the cylinders. I am thinking of taking out the stock cone of the original baffle and cutting the end pipe off to put in the left side and that should do it. I will update after. Thanks for the response.

Since you are using a canned map, I would get the bike to a tuner who will at least check the tune.
Exhaust leak(s) can cause your condition...?
Ya just can't expect canned maps to be right with all thenvariables built into your bike.
Some will be close (enough?) while others need to be recalibrated for your variances, usually due to production injector output variances.

And how would he (Jamie) know the tune was right when it was just a canned map to your bike? Fact is he doesn't know unless he tested it.

I agree.  But looking at the slip ons after an Xpipe will tell you nothing.

First, check to make sure you have no exhaust leaks.  Then, use your PV and do a tuning run.  That'll tell you whether or not your VEs are way off.

Okay guys, I did an Auto Tune session after flashing the map that Jamie sent with my Power Vision and it had 17% difference and actually stopped the little bit of popping that I did have. Checked O2 placement with pipes and they are in the correct places. Checked all connections for loose fit. I removed the left muffler and removed Competition Baffle and also removed the cone from original baffle and installed in the tail end of the Comp. Baffle. Put muffler back on the bike and I will fire it tomorrow and see if there are any changes. I'm going to have the PV hooked up and check parameters and check exhaust temperature with a Snap On Infrared Thermometer. I will do another Auto Tune due to the change and let everyone know the outcome. Thanks again for posting, great information from you guys.

OK you're killin' me!..with all due repect.

You have an X-pipe...that means the front and rear cylinders come to a single hole...then split back into 2 pipes.
So the left and right pipe/mufflers get a sampling of, or share both cylinders.
The fact there is a difference in color and/or temperature between the 2, well, prolly has to do with the pipe lengths and bend differences.
Just a guess but my money's on the right pipe/muffler hotter than the left...but I could be wrong because exhaust flow can fool ya.
They will probably both equal out after a while.

FLTRI, sorry for all the crazy talk, but hopefully tomorrow the heat is higher in the right than the left or evens out a little better. I'll post tomorrow after I see what's up.

FWIW:
Hopefully you are viewing the left and right from the rear of the bike. :nixweiss:
