Here in Perth Western Australia I've just bought a "used" 2013 CVO Breakout , only 4,500 Kilometres ( 2,800 Miles !)

The bike had had a " Screamin eagle Pro 110 performance upgrade kit " installed from day 1 by the supplying HD dealer

 ( That's 10.5:1 pistons , 259E cams , perfect fit pushrods and a Supertuner , gaskets etc etc , all as a "boxed kit" )

Bike also has Freedom Performance Declaration turnouts , a true dual exhaust setup .

Now I yesterday used the Supertuner VCI to download and check the installed calibration.

( I'm a TTS guy up until now , and I'm very familiar with their setup and calibrations , but this bike has the Supertuner already so the dollars are spent and I'll be re-educating myself to the "Harley" product )

I found the downloaded cal to be the Calbrations file cal for a " 2013 CVO Softail with 255 cams " ( ie the stock cams !!) , and that there is no Cal for 259e cams in a 110 cube Softail. ( Such cals do exist for the "TOURING PLATFORM" BIKES .) Basically just the canned calibration for "stock" CVO cams and pistons ??

This CVO Softail cal is 025CAY004  ( remeber this 2013 CVO Softail is a DBW model. no throttle cable !)

In reality the bike is VERY flat low down in the revs , indeed my 2008 CVO Springer would SPANK it in a runoff and it's 100% CVO stock other than V&H Big Shot Staggered exhaust ! TTS tuned by me already.

So my question(s) are:

1) Why no cal in the cal file list for a 2013 CVO Softail with 259 cams and 10.5:1 pistons which is sold as a kit ?

2) Which cal should I be trying ? There is a Supertuner cal for a "Touring" bike which like the Breakout has a DBW throttle that has all of the build components of the "Upgrade kit " . Can "Touring" cals be put into other platforms with Supertuner ? I used to use Touring cals in Dynas and Softails all the time back in the cable throttle days.

3) Can I "build" a calibration ? Looks to be so in the Tuning files but I can't see how to do it ? I can see the build menu but beyond listing all the specs ??

Thanks in advance from Downunder gents , awaiting your helpful replies

1800 Stage 3 10.5 SE-251/SE-259E O.E. 50mm t/b   358SDT003 is an option or you just start with what you have and tune from there. Its just a base cal to work with.

Thanks GMR for that quick reply mate

When I look up the cal you suggest it looks like a cable throttle Dyna/Softail cal ?

What I do see for Touring DBW is

2010-2013 Touring 1800 pro upgrade kit 10.5 OE heads and throttle body 259e cams 044SDC004

Can that cal be put into a 2013 DBW CVO Softail Breakout ?

The bike you have requires a software level 025 calibration that is special for CVO only. You can look at the other one and see about copying parts of it over but be careful with doing that as the base software is not the same. Since there is not that many of them being built and sold your selection of calibrations done on your model will be less.

Steve mate , I had kinda "suspected" that all along

Why did the dealer even sell him the "upgrade kit" I ask myself ( I asked the dealer concerned as well , no positive answer )

I'd have been happy with the 255 cams that are stock in CVO models , but "I've got what I've got" I suppose

So the definitive answer is NO ? "Touring" platform DBW cals cannot be used in a 2013 CVO Softail 110 ?

Oh yes indeedy on the HD dealer

This bike most likely did not need this " 110 Upgrade kit "

$5k Aussie on top of the $44K Ausie purchase price !!

The " 110 Pro kit " , ie 259e cams , 10.5:1 pistons , gaskets , LABOUR and Freedom Performance Declaration turnouts true duals

All the bike " needed" no doubt was good freeflow slip on mufflers and a re-tune / re-flash

has anyone else had 259E cams in a 2013 CVO Breakout ?

Can't ask in the Breakout forum as that's "verboten" apparently !!

Steve beat me to it. Sorry I was not clear but yea copy paste out what you can and go from there. It's not like the canned map is any better as a starting point.
